The Matador

(Orchestra) One of the themes I created for a computer animated film that was never finished. It has some nice solo trumpet work and a simple latin rhythm in the bass. The string section is featured quite a bit too. |
Midnight Alley

(Rhodes, bass, drums, electronics) A jazzy but a little bit dark piece. There's a main theme at the beginning, then a short horn break, a solo, and a repeat of the theme. |
The Doctrine of Vitality

(Electronic) This is the main theme for a short I did. It's basically about a guy who gets addicted to carrots. This version starts with a sharp sustained chord that leads into the main theme. |
Earthbound

(Electronic) This one was pretty easy to make. It only took about an hour to figure out. Most of the sounds come from Reality's (a softsynth) default bankset. The main melody is a vocal part, but I never wrote lyrics for it. |
Deeper Still

Audio |
(Electronic) Definitely the strangest of my pieces. The sound in the beginning is an extreme example of FM synthesis. The section where the baseline descends was actually taken from another song I was working on at the time. |
The Speed of Light

(Rock band, orchestra, electronics) Half rock and half symphonic, but still more on the rock side I guess. I had a blast throwing in all the different instruments and melodies, especially in the middle section where the energy really picks up. |
